A Focus Group consists of a set of NCFR members with a specific family life interest that is related to an existing NCFR Section, but that is not the sole focus of that Section.

Whitney Brosi is an Assistant Professor of Gerontology in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies at Oklahoma State University. Through her research, she examines the role of elderly care recipients in family care systems. Specifically, Dr. Brosi investigates constructs such as decision making and power transmission and the role of recipients.
