Approve Your Meeting for CFLE Credit |
 |
Your conference/meeting/workshop, etc. could be approved for Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credit!
The National Council on Family Relations provides approval for CFLE continuing education credits for applicable educational programs. If your program would be of interest to those who have received the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) designation or are interested in becoming certified, consider applying for CFLE continuing education credits. Attendees can earn credit for attending your meeting. This credit can be used as part of their certification renewal or as part of their original CFLE application.
How do I Apply for CEU Credit?
If you are interested in having your program approved, please complete the CFLE Continuing Education Application form. Attach a copy of the program or a preliminary outline. Be sure to include a time schedule for each session including breaks, meals, and the total number of presentation minutes.
If you are interested in having your meeting approved, print out the CEU Application for Prior Approval of CFLE Continuing Education Credit and return it to the NCFR office.
You must have the Adobe® Reader® plug-in installed on your system in order to view this file. You can download a FREE pdf viewer by clicking on the button below.

In order to determine the number of Contact Hours or CEUs to apply for, simply add up the total number of minutes of presentation and divide by 60 (one Contact Hour = 60 minutes). For example, if your workshop is a total of 365 minutes (365 divided by 60 = 6), it would be approved for 6 Contact hours or .6 CEUs (One CEU = 10 Contact Hours.) We do not approve fractional hours.
Submission Deadline
The CFLE Continuing Education Approval form should be submitted to the NCFR office approximately six weeks prior to the event to allow time for the meeting to be promoted as CFLE-approved. Please allow three weeks for review.
